    The creators of “Fork and Cork Divine”, Linda and Chuck, both have a passion for food and wine.  The enjoyment of tasty, well prepared and attractively presented food has always been a part of their lives.  But the appreciation of wine began  in early 2000s when they attended their first wine education seminar.   Since that time, life has never been the same!

    Linda has a college degree in food and nutrition, is a Retired Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and was employed in the food service management industry for 50 years.  She has always enjoyed cooking for family and friends.  Entertaining and party planning should probably be considered her lifelong hobbies.   When wine was added to the food mix, each dinner or event became even more of an enjoyable challenge.

    Chuck is a self taught cook who really enjoys cooking.  He can put together a routine weeknight family meal or kick it up a notch for a special company dinner.  Luckily both Linda and Chuck share these same passions.  While  Linda is the careful planner and list maker,  Chuck jumps right in and executes the task.  What a team – –  “Fork and Cork Divine” is a marriage made in heaven!

    The birth of “Fork and Cork Divine” provided an entertaining opportunity to chronicle their travels through the culinary world and wine and dinner events, as well as their actual travels through wine country.  Since retirement from full-time employment, there is ample time to research and write about those wine countries and regions that we have not had the opportunity to visit.  Fork and Cork Divine has become the perfect vehicle to chronicle this knowledge learned and the wine dinners planned and enjoyed with food from each region appropriately paired with the wines.  We truly believe in that philosophy that “whatever grows together goes together”.  

    Let’s keep the journey alive……….
